Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Compete in Meet of the UnSaintly
The Gustavus Adolphus College men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Meet of the UnSaintly hosted by Hamline University Friday evening in St. Paul. In a field dominated by athletes from the University of Minnesota, Andy Klaers (discus), Sari Lindeman (triple jump), Aryn Bell (100 hurdles) and Lisa Brown (javelin throw) picked up individual wins for Gustavus. This was the team's final competiton before next weekend's MIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Collegeville.
Track and Field Posts Five School Records at Hamline
The Gustavus Adolphus track and field team set a total of five school records, provisionally qualified two more individuals for the NCAA meet and had three others better their provisional qualifying marks Friday at Hamline's Meet of the UnSaintly in St. Paul. The Gusties are now preparing for the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships May 12-13 at St. Thomas.
