Turnovers Prove Costly In Men’s Basketball 70-49 Loss At St. Thomas

The Gustavus men's basketball team struggled to take care of the ball, committing 29 turnovers in a 70-49 loss to second-ranked University of St. Thomas at Schoenecker Arena on Saturday afternoon in a battle of the top two teams in the MIAC. Ryan McPartland was the only Gustie to reach double-figures with 10 points and grabbed a game-high nine rebounds. Gustavus, which fell to 7-6 overall, moved into a tie with Carleton for second place in the league standings at 6-2.
