The Gustavus baseball team fell to 0-8 on the road in MIAC play with 11-7, and 3-2 losses to Augsburg on Wednesday afternoon in Minneapolis. Gustavus falls to 15-21 overall and 5-13 in the MIAC, while Augsburg stays in the playoff chase, improving to 18-19 overall and 11-7 in the MIAC.
The Gustavus baseball team suffered its second MIAC sweep of the season with 11-10, and 11-6 losses at the hands of Bethel on Sunday afternoon in Arden Hills, Minn. Bethel grabbed early leads in both games, forcing the Gusties to play catch-up. Tim Miller was 4-for-7 with four runs and five RBIs on the day. The Gusties won game one 5-4 in extra innings on an RBI base hit by Tim Miller that scored Andrew Woitas for the win. The Tommies rebounded in game two, defeating Gustavus decisively 10-2. Gustavus goes to 10-11 overall and 3-4 in the MIAC, while St. Thomas moves to 19-4 overall and 6-3 in the MIAC.

The 2010 Gustavus baseball team opened the season in the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome with a series split with UW-Oshkosh on Sunday evening. The Gusties dropped game one to the Titans 10-9 in extra innings, but came back to win the second game of the doubleheader 2-1. Gustavus is now 1-1 on the season, while UW-Oshkosh moves to 3-3.
