Men’s Track and Field Third at MSU Ted Nelson Classic
The Gustavus Adolphus men's indoor track and field team won three events and picked up a total of 12 top-five finishes en route to a third-place finish at the Ted Nelson Classic hosted by Minnesota State University, Mankato. North Dakota edged MSU, Mankato for the team title 213.5-213, followed by Gustavus with 98.5 points and Augustana (S.D.) with 45.
Women’s Track and Field Fourth at MSU Ted Nelson Classic
The Gustavus Adolphus women's indoor track and field team was shut out of any event wins but tallied 12 top-five finishes as the Gusties finished fourth at Saturday's Ted Nelson Classic hosted by Minnesota State University, Mankato. Janna Castellano placed fourth in the pole vault with a NCAA provisional-qualifying mark of 11 feet, 6 1/4 inches, while Sari Lindeman finished second in both the long jump (17-0) and triple jump (36-0) to lead the Gusties.
Men’s Indoor Track and Field Claims Third at Ted Nelson Classic
The Gustavus men's indoor track and field team claimed no titles at Saturday's Ted Nelson Classic hosted by Minnesota State Mankato, but a number of top-four finishes allowed the Gusties to place third in the four team field with 78.50 points. MSU easily outdistance the field, compiling 221 points. University of North Dakota finished second with 134.50 points.
