Men’s Tennis Suffers 7-2 Loss To University of Redlands
The Gustavus men's tennis team suffered its second straight loss after falling to the University of Redlands 7-2 in Claremont, Calif. on Wednesday. The Gusties lost two extremely tight doubles matches as they trailed 3-0 heading into singles play before losing four of six singles matches. Gustavus, which is 17-6 overall, will wrap up their Spring Break trip against UC-Santa Cruz on Thursday afternoon in Santa Cruz, Calif.
Men’s Tennis Edges No. 12 University of Redlands 5-4
The Gustavus Adolphus College men's tennis team picked up wins in four of six singles matches to record a 5-4 come-from-behind victory over University of Redlands in Redlands, Calif. Gustavus is rated fifth in NCAA Division III, while Redlands is rated 12th. Andy Bryan and Jesse Brauer team for a win at No. 1 doubles then each followed it up with a victory in singles play. Gustavus will face NAIA No. 2 Azusa Pacific Thursday to wrap up their Spring Break trip.
