Four Gusties Named United Soccer Coaches All-North Region

United Soccer Coaches released its All-Region Teams on Monday and four Gustavus men’s soccer players were named to the All-North Region Teams. Midfielder Matt Gibbons (Jr., Minneapolis), goalkeeper Wesley Sanders (Fy., Urbandale, Iowa), and forward Cole Schwartz (So., Jakarta, Indonesia) on are on the first team, while Raphael Cattelin (Fy., Edina, Minn.) received Third Team honors.

Men’s Soccer Ready For NCAA Competition this Weekend

The Gustavus men’s soccer team is set to compete in the NCAA Championships Saturday as it takes on Colorado College in the first round, hosted by North Park University in Chicago, Ill. The Gusties and Tigers kick off at 3:30 p.m., which follows North Park and Pacific Lutheran at 1 p.m. The two winners face each other at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Four Gustavus men's soccer players were named MIAC All-Conference and another was named honorable mention Tuesday morning. Men’s Soccer Set to Host MIAC Championship in Mankato Saturday

The Gustavus men's soccer team will host St. Thomas at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato at 1 p.m. Saturday for the MIAC Championship match. Something has to give in Saturday's contest, as the Gusties (16-3) claim one of the top offenses in the country, while the Tommies (13-3-3) have one of the strongest defenses in the country. 

Men’s Soccer Set to Host MIAC Semifinal Versus Saint John’s Wednesday

The Gustavus men’s soccer team is set to host Saint John's in a MIAC semifinal match at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Gustie Soccer Field. The No. 1 Gusties earned the MIAC regular season title with an 9-1 record and are 15-3 overall, while the No. 4 Johnnies finished the MIAC 6-4 and hold an 11-7 overall record.

Raphael Cattelin Named MIAC Men’s Soccer Athlete of the Week

Raphael Cattelin’s (Fy., Edina) netted a pair of game-winning goals last week including a MIAC title decider with 1:45 remaining in the team's 2-1 win over Macalester Saturday to gain himself MIAC Player of the Week honors.

Men’s Soccer Looks to Clinch MIAC Title Saturday

The Gustavus men's soccer team traveled to St. Paul to take on Hamline Tuesday and defeated the Pipers 3-1. With the win the Gusties move to 14-3 overall and 8-1 in the MIAC while the Pipers fall to 3-11-1 overall and 1-8 in the conference.

The Gustavus men's soccer team will travel to Hamline Tuesday to take on the Pipers in a 3:30 p.m. contest. The Gusties enter 13-3 overall and 7-1 in the MIAC while the Pipers are 3-10-1 overall and 1-7 in the conference.

Men’s Soccer Shuts Out Concordia 4-0

The Gustavus men's soccer team traveled to Concordia Saturday and shut out the Cobbers 4-0. The Gusties played with a young unit today, having nine first years see action as well as 13 underclassmen. With the win the Gusties improve to 13-3 overall and 7-1 in the MIAC, while the Cobbers fall to 8-6-2 and 2-6-0 in the conference.
