The Gustavus women’s basketball team suffered a 70-58 loss to Wartburg College in the 2010 season opener on Monday night in Waverly, Iowa. The Gusties are now 0-1 on the season and will face UW-River Falls in the their first home contest on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. in St. Peter.

Gustavus Adolphus women’s basketball players Bri Radtke, Molly Geske, and Molly Mathiowetz have been named All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference by a vote of the league’s coaches with Radtke being named the league’s Player of the Year.
Women’s Basketball Suffers Heartbreaking 63-60 Loss To St. Thomas in MIAC Playoff Semifinals
St. Thomas guard Jordyn Sears hit two free throws with 09 seconds left to give the Tommies a 63-60 lead and senior guard Bri Radtke's three-point shot at the buzzer bounced off the rim knocking the regular season champion Gusties out of tournament and putting their NCAA Tournament hopes in jeopardy. The Gusties and Tommies battled for 40 minutes at a level that was befitting a post-season tournament contest with everything at stake. In the end, St. Thomas was able to make the clutch shots in the final moments and Gustavus was not. With the loss the Gusties fall to 20-6, while St. Thomas improves to 20-7.

The Gustavus women's basketball team came up just short in its bid to claim the program's first ever outirght league falling to St. Ben's 67-65 in St. Joseph on Saturday afternoon. The Blazer's hit two free throws with 06 seconds left to claim the thrilling victory. Molly Geske led all scorers with 23 points.
Women’s Basketball Defeats St. Thomas 66-56, Secures At Least A Share Of MIAC Title
The Gustavus women's basketball team slipped past St. Thomas 66-56 on Wednesday and in the process clinched at least a share of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Title with one game yet to play. Against the Tommies, Gustavus got a big performance from senior forward Julia Schultz, who started in place leading scorer Molly Mathiowetz who was out with the flu. Schultz scored 12 points and grabbed five rebounds for the Gusties.

Gustavus Adolphus senior Bri Radtke and sophomore Molly Geske are two of three women's basketball student-athletes from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) named to the 2009-10 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 5 Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Women’s Basketball Posts Convincing 67-44 Win Over St. Olaf
The Gustavus women's basketball team inched another step closer to a regular season conference title with a 67-44 win over St. Olaf at Gus Young Court in St. Peter on Wednesday night. The Gusties used a 22-1 run over an eight minute period in the first half to build a 17-point lead and never looked back on its way to an important win over the Oles. Sophomore Ava Perry turned in an outstanding performance for Gustavus as she scored a career high 18 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field including 4-of-5 from behind the arc.
Women’s Basketball Falls To Hamline 69-65
The Gustavus women's basketball team ran into a hot-shooting Hamline squad and the result was a 69-65 loss to the Pipers on their home floor in St. Paul on Saturday afternoon. Molly Geske led Gustavus in scoring with 16 points. The Gusties are now 17-4 overall and 15-3 in the MIAC.
