The Gustavus men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams turned in multiple impressive performances Saturday at the Minnesota Challenge, hosted by the University of Minnesota. After 10 events last night, the meet concluded today with 30 more events.

The Gustavus women’s swimming and diving team competed in the two-day Minnesota Challenge held in the Aquatics Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota on Friday and Saturday. No team scores were kept, as it was the Gusties final swim meet before competition at the MIAC Championships held on February 18-20 in the U of M Aquatics Center.

Men’s Swimming and Diving Performs Well in Relays at Minnesota Challenge
The Gustavus men's swimming and diving team, concentrating its efforts in the relays, registered a total of 19 top-eight relay finishes at last weekend's Minnesota Challenge at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center in Minneapolis. The Gusties won three of five relays and finished second in four with either their first or second team.
Women’s Swimming and Diving Competes at Minnesota Challenge
The relay of team of Krista Koenen, Emily Degnan, Emma Espel and Laura Watkins opened the Minnesota Challenge with a third-place in the 200 freestyle relay and wrapped it up with a runner-up finish in the 400 freestyle relay to lead the Gustavus women's swimming and diving contingent at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center last weekend.
