The NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Committee has released the 2004 championship bracket and the Gustavus men’s soccer team received a bye in the first round and will host a second round match on Saturday, November 13 at 1:00pm.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team defeated Macalester 3-0 to claim its second consecutive MIAC Tournament Championship and an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament. Ben Heupel, J.T. Johnson and Joe Hartwell were the goal scorers for Gustavus.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team will host Macalester College on Saturday, November 6 in the MIAC tournament final. The match is scheduled to start at 1pm.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team defeated Bethel University 1-0 on Tuesday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. Sophomore Alex Groth scored the only goal in the 38th minute of the match. The Gusties will host Macalester College on Saturday in the MIAC final.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team is seeded number one and will host number four seed Bethel University in the MIAC playoffs semifinal game on Tuesday, November 2. The match is scheduled to begin at 2:00pm.

The Gustavus men’s soccer defeated St. Thomas 1-0 on Tuesday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. to claim at least a share of the regular season conference title. J.T. Johnson scored the gamewinner for Gustavus in the 79th minute of the match.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team defeated Macalester College 1-0 in double overtime on Friday night in St. Paul, Minn. Joe Hartwell converted a penalty-kick 2:15 into the second overtime period to give the Gusties the conference victory.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team defeated Hamline University 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in St. Paul, Minn. Chad Ransom, Caleb Bousu and Alex Groth were the goal scorers for Gustavus.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team lost to Beth University 1-0 on Wednesday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. Bethel’s goal came in the 31st minute of the match. Gustavus’ unbeaten streak ends at 29 games.
