Men’s Indoor Track and Field Opens Season With Solid Outing At Minnesota State, Mankato Open
The Gustavus men's track and field team opened its indoor season last Saturday at the MSU Open hosted by Minnesota State University, Mankato. Chris deLaubenfels had a big day for the Gusties as he won the 3,000 meter run with a time of 8:46.0 and finished second in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 15:03.68.

The Gustavus men's track and field team will return a strong contingent of athletes that recorded top ten finishes at last year's MIAC Indoor Championships and the team's goal is to improve on last year's sixth place finish. The Gusties open their season on Thursday with a triangular in St. Peter.
