The Gustavus men’s basketball team picked up its first win of the season in impressive fashion by knocking off Carthage College 74-61 in Kenosha, Wisc. Tim Brown led the Gusties with 19 points.

The Gustavus men’s basketball team opened its 2003-04 season with a disappointing 59-55 loss to Luther College in St. Peter. The game was very close throughout, however Luther made several key shots down the stretch to escape with the win.

Gustavus Athletics Director Al Molde and Head Basketball Coach Mark Hanson have announced that Cannon Falls, Minnesota native David Flom, a 1995 graduate of Gustavus has been named assistant coach of the Golden Gustie basketball program.
