The Gustavus men’s soccer team is set to host Augsburg in a MIAC semifinal match at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Gustie Soccer Field. Matt Gibbons (So., Minneapolis, Minn.) was a key factor in the Gustavus men's soccer team extending its unbeaten streak to eight matches by scoring three goals in two games last week. Gibbons tallied a goal and an assist in a 4-2 win over St. Scholastica and then followed with a two-goal performance at Bethel as the Gusties won 3-1. His first goal against the Royals proved to be the game-winner. For his performance, Gibbons has been named the MIAC Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week.
