Margaret Dorer and Laura Edlund Named to CoSIDA Academic All-America At-Large Team
Gustavus Adolphus College senior women's hockey player Margaret Dorer and senior women's Nordic skier Laura Edlund have been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Women's At-Large Team as released by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Dorer, a College Division Second Team selection, and Edlund, a College Division Third Team selection, are the sixth and seventh Gustavus student-athletes to be named Academic All-Americans this year.
Hockey Player Margaret Dorer Named to CoSIDA Academic All-America Team
Margaret Dorer, a member of the Gustavus women's hockey team, has been named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine At-Large Academic All-America Team. Dorer, a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District selection, was a Second Team Academic All-America selection this year. A St. Paul, Minn. native, Dorer maintains a 3.85 grade point average with majors in scandinavian studies and psychology.
