Joyce Finishes Ninth in Steeplechase at NCAA Championships; Miest and Cronen Advance to Saturday Finals
Gustavus Adolphus senior Kourtney Joyce finished ninth in the 3000-meter steeplechase Friday, while junior Tanner Miest and senior Ashley Cronen advanced to Saturday's finals in the 110-meter hurdles and 800-meter run, respectively, at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships being held this weekend at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois.
Harren, Joyce to Run at NCAA Cross Country Championships
Gustavus women's cross country runners Hailey Harren (Jr., Cold Spring, Minn.) and Kourtney Joyce (Sr., Wadena, Minn.) have been selected to compete in the 2005 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 19 at the Methodist Theological School and Dornoch Golf Club in Delaware, Ohio. Ohio Wesleyan University is the host for the 2005 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships. The women's race will begin at 11 a.m., Eastern Standard Time.
