Men’s Tennis Fares Well On First Day of ITA Regional Tournament
The Gustavus men's tennis team had a strong showing at the first day of the Wilson/ITA Midwest Regional being held at the Swanson Tennis Center and the Brown Outdoor Courts on the Gustavus campus as six players advanced to the Round of 16 in singles and four teams advanced to the third round in doubles.
Samantha Frank and Megan Gaard Finish Second in Doubles at ITA Midwest Regional
The Gustavus women's tennis team wrapped up its fall season with a solid performance at the ITA Midwest Regional and the Fall Invitational, both of which were hosted at Gustavus this past weekend. Sophomore Sam Frank and first year Megan Gaard turned in the top performance with a second place finish in the ITA Doubles Tournament. Frank and Gaard lost to Molly Fiala and Andrea Schupach of Coe 8-4 in the championship match.
Gustavus Captures Singles and Doubles Titles at Wilson/ITA Midwest Regional
The Gustavus men's tennis team wrapped up a very successful Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regional by claiming both singles and doubles titles on Sunday afternoon. Loren Collins and the doubles team of Adam Morgan and Brett Morse-Karzen receive ITA All-America honors by virtue of winning regional titles and advance to play in the ITA Small College Championships in Fort Myers, Florida on October 13 through 16.
