Aney, O’Neil Take Home MIAC Elite 22 Awards In Tennis

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) recognized some of its best and brightest spring sport student-athletes on Monday with the announcement of the spring sports Elite 22 Awards. Gustavus swept the tennis accolades, with Michael O'Neil (So., Edina, Minn.) receiving the men's tennis Elite 22 Award and Katie Aney (Sr., Rochester, Minn.) taking the women's tennis honor.

Four Women’s Tennis Players Named 2011 All-Conference

Four members of the Gustavus women’s tennis team were named to the 2011 All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference singles and doubles teams on Tuesday, May 10. Marianne Barau, Alex Erickson, Sam Frank, and Megan Gaard were named All-Conference in both singles and doubles, while Julie Bardenwerper was named Gustavus’ representative on the 2011 All-Sportsmanship Team.
