The Gustavus men's hockey team completed the weekend sweep of Finlandia University with a 4-1 victory on Saturday afternoon in Hancock, Mich. The Gusties used a three goal first period to propel them past the Lions. Gustavus improves to 9-3-1 overall, while Finlandia falls to 1-9.
Second Period Scoring Surge Lifts Men’s Hockey To 6-2 Win Over Concordia (Wis.)
The Gusties scored two goals in the first period and three goals in the second on their way to a 6-2 win over Concordia University (Wis.) on Tuesday night. Gustav Bengtson notched two goals, while Adam Smyth added one goal and a pair of assists in the victory. The Gusties improve to 6-2-1 overall, as Concordia falls to 1-10-0.

The Gustavus men's hockey team improved to 3-1-0 on the season with an exciting 2-0 win over UW-River Falls on Saturday night at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter. Third period goals by Ross Ring-Jarvi and Gustav Bengtson and some clutch goaltending by Tyler Venne allowed the Gusties to slip past the Falcons.
