The Gustavus women's hockey team remained in the hunt for its sixth consecutive MIAC regular season title with an 8-4 win over Concordia in Moorhead on Friday evening. Lindsey Hjelm and Meagan Wanecke both scored twice for Gustavus, while Emily Klatt picked up the win in goal.

The Gustavus women's hockey team broke open a tight game with five goals in the third period and claimed a 7-1 win over St. Benedict at the Municipal Athletic Complex in St. Cloud on Friday night. Meagan Wanecke led the Gusties with two goals and one assist, while Emily Klatt picked up the win in goal.
MIAC Names Emily Klatt Women’s Hockey Player Of The Week
Gustavus Adolphus College sophomore goaltender Emily Klatt (Woodbury, Minn.) has been named MIAC Women's Hockey Player of the Week. Klatt helped the Gusties go 2-0 last week with a 2-1 upset victory over #5 UW-River Falls on Tuesday night, and a 1-0 win over Saint Mary's on Saturday afternoon. Klatt gave up one goal and made 30 saves while playing a total of 90 minutes on the week.
Meuwissen’s Early Goal Allows Women’s Hockey To Slip Past Saint Mary’s 1-0
The Gustavus women's hockey team got an early goal from Tam Meuwissen and held on for a 1-0 non-conference win over Saint Mary's at Don Robert's Ice Rink in St. Peter on Saturday afternoon. Danielle Justice and Emily Klatt combined to post the shutout in goal for Gustavus.
Mackley’s Two Goals Propel Women’s Hockey Team Past UW-River Falls 2-1
The Gustavus women's hockey team defeated UW-River Falls 2-1 at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter on Tuesday night. Senior captain Melissa Mackley scored the gamewinner for the Gusties at 2:26 of the third period with assists from Lindsey Hjelm and Kelsey Kennedy. Gustavus goaltender Emily Klatt shut the Falcons out the rest of the way and the Gusties held on for the important 2-1 victory.
Women’s Hockey Defeats St. Olaf 3-1
The Gustavus women's hockey team claimed a 3-1 win over St. Olaf in Northfield, Minn. on Saturday night. The Gusties got goals from Lindsey Hjelm and Whitney Schaff to take a 2-0 lead and then Allie Schwab closed out the scoring with an open net goal in the final seconds. Emily Klatt picked up the win in the nets.
