Doyle Named MIAC Women’s Hockey Player of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus College senior forward Molly Doyle (Richfield, Minn.) has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending March 9, 2008. Doyle scored the game-winning goal at 17:14 in the third period to give Gustavus a 1-0 victory over St. Thomas in the MIAC Playoff Championship game on Wednesday night in St. Peter.

Women’s Hockey Tops Bethel 4-0

The Gustavus Adolphus women's hockey team moved to 14-1-0 overall and 9-0-0 in the MIAC with a 4-0 win over Bethel Friday night at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter. Molly Doyle led the Gusties with a pair of second-period goals, while Mari Gunderson and Melissa Mackley each added a pair of assists. The weekend series continues at 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the Schwan Super Rink in Blaine.

Doyle Hat Trick Leads Women’s Hockey Past Lake Forest 5-2

In only her second game back from off-season knee surgery, junior forward Molly Doyle scored a hat trick to lead the Gustavus Adolphus women's hockey team to a 5-2 victory over Lake Forest College Saturday afternoon in Lake Forest, Ill. Sarah Windhorst made 16 saves to move to 5-0-0 in net for the third-ranked Gusties (10-1), who host sixth-ranked Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Tuesday evening in St. Peter.

Doyle Named MIAC Women’s Hockey Player of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus College sophomore women's hockey player Molly Doyle (Eagan, Minn.) has been named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 20, 2006. Doyle tallied five points (2g, 3a) to help the Gusties sweep Augsburg (7-0 and 8-2) and clinch at least a share of the MIAC regular season title.
