Nora Holtan Named CoSIDA Academic All-America

The 2017 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America Volleyball Teams were announced Wednesday morning and Gustavus junior setter Nora Holtan (Rochester, Minn.) has been named to the seven-member Second Team. The CoSIDA Academic All-America Teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

Carston Dammann Named CoSIDA Academic All-American

The 2017 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America Men’s Track & Field/Cross Country Teams were released Thursday and Gustavus senior Carston Dammann (Lake City, Minn.) was named to the 15-member Second Team. The CoSIDA Academic All-America Teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

Katie Aney Named CoSIDA Academic All-America

The 2017 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America At-Large Teams were released Tuesday and Gustavus women’s tennis junior Katie Aney (Rochester, Minn.) was named to the 17-member Second Team, which features student-athletes who participated in fencing, field hockey, golf, lacrosse, rowing, swimming, tennis, and water polo. The CoSIDA Academic All-America Teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

Gustavus Ranks 11th In Division III CoSIDA Academic All-Americans

Gustavus Adolphus College has a rich history of athletic accomplishments. Gustie teams have gone on to win 250 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) championships as a charter member of the league and have enjoyed success on the national stage as well. The triumphs on the playing field are certainly attributed to the physical abilities of the student-athletes, but what sets Gustavus apart from many other institutions is the hard work put in the classroom by its student-athletes.

Andy Bryan and Connor Ziegler Named to CoSIDA Academic All-America Team

Gustavus Adolphus College senior men's tennis player Andy Bryan and senior men's swimmer Connor Ziegler have been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Men's At-Large Team as released by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Bryan is a College Division First Team selection, while Ziegler is a Third Team selection.
