Rust Finishes Tenth At MIAC Decathlon
Gustavus Adolphus outdoor track and field athlete Colin Rust finished in tenth place at the MIAC Decathlon with a total of 4493 points on Friday in Northfield, Minn. Ryan Ness scored a total of 4389 points to take 12th place, while St. Thomas' Devin Dirth won the Decathlon with a total of 5838 points.

Gustavus Adolphus track and field athlete Colin Rust is currently in eighth place with 2572 points after day one of competition at the MIAC Decathlon hosted by Carleton Thursday afternoon in Northfield, Minn. Ryan Ness is also representing the Gustavus men's outdoor track and field team at the meet, as he is currently in 11th place with 2356 points.
Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Competes At Gustie Invitational
The Gustavus men’s outdoor track and field team scored 30 top-five finishes at the Gustie Invitational held at the Gustavus Outdoor Track and Field Complex on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. The Gusties won seven events, while reaching the podium in a total of 19 events on the afternoon. No team scores were kept at the meet.
Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Takes First At Carleton Relays
The Gustavus men’s outdoor track and field team compiled 159.5 points to take first place at the Carleton Relays held at Laird Stadium on the campus of Carleton College in Northfield, Minn. The Gusties registered nine top-three finishes in the track events and seven top three finishes in the field events at the meet. Concordia placed second with 127.5 points, as Hamline rounded out the top three in third with 109 points.
