The Gustavus football team fell 9-6 to non-conference opponent Mayville State University on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. The Gusties drop to 0-2 on the season and will take on St. Olaf in Northfield, Minn. next weekend.

Homecoming Heartbreaker, Football Falls 19-14 To St. Olaf

The Gustavus football team suffered a heartbreaking 19-14 loss at the hands of St. Olaf in its MIAC opener on Saturday in St. Peter, Minn. St. Olaf's Leon Clark scored the game-winning touchdown with less than a minute on the clock to slip past the Gusties on Homecoming Day.
