Women’s Basketball Caps Regular Season With 70-53 Win Over Bethel

After dropping its last two road tests, the Gustavus women’s basketball team finished the regular season on a positive note heading into the MIAC Playoffs with a 70-53 victory over Bethel on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. The Gusties finish the regular season with a 19-6 overall record and 17-5 mark in the MIAC.

Women’s Basketball Hosts Play 4Kay Breast Cancer Awareness Game Saturday Against Bethel

The Gustavus women's basketball team will host its Play 4Kay Breast Cancer Awareness game Saturday at 1:00 p.m. against Bethel University. Tickets purchased by those in attendance wearing pink will profit breast cancer research and the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Previously known as the WBCA Pink Zone, the Play 4Kay initiative will remain intact: a nation of coaches raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond.

Steph Comer nailed a half court buzzer-beater to send the Gustavus women's basketball team into overtime Wednesday night in St. Paul, where the Gusties prevailed 83-82 over Hamline. The win extends their win streak to ten and the Gusties are now 11-1 in the MIAC and 13-2 overall.

Women’s Basketball Claims Ninth Consecutive Win, Tops Concordia 87-72

The Gustavus women’s basketball team jumped out to an early lead Monday in St. Peter, Minn. and never looked back on its way to an 87-72 win over Concordia College. With their ninth consecutive victory, the Gusties improve to 10-1 in the MIAC and 12-2 on the year, while the Cobbers fall to 8-6 overall and 6-6 in the conference.

Women’s Basketball Back On The Road Tonight Against Saint Ben’s

The Gustavus women's basketball team travels to St. Joseph, Minn. tonight to take on the College of Saint Benedict at 7:30 p.m. for game two of the regular season series. Head Coach Mickey Haller's squad took game one of the series 81-64 on Dec. 10 in St. Peter, Minn. The Gusties are riding a six-game MIAC win steak with a 6-1 record in the conference and 9-2 overall mark, while the Blazers come in at 7-4 overall and 4-4 in the MIAC.

Women’s Basketball Cruises To 75-52 Win Over St. Kate’s

The Gustavus women’s basketball team won its sixth-straight MIAC contest against St. Catherine University Saturday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. The Gusties move to 9-2 overall and 7-1 in the MIAC, while the Wildcats fall to 1-10 overall and 0-8 in league play.

The Gustavus women's basketball team defeated Bethel 77-64 on Wednesday night in Arden Hills. Ava Perry led the Gusties with 16 points, while Abby Rothenbuehler added 15. Gustavus improves to 7-5 in the MIAC and 8-7 overall.

The Gustavus women's basketball team got back on the winning track with a 76-55 victory over St. Catherine on Wednesday night in St. Peter, Minn. Molly Geske led the way with 20 points, while Ava Perry and Molly Mathiowetz both scored in double-figures with 16 and 14 points, respectively. The Gusties improve to 5-5 overall and 4-3 in the MIAC with the victory, while St. Catherine drops to 3-6 overall and 2-4 in the MIAC.
