Gustavus Set to Induct Eight New Members into Athletics Hall of Fame
The Gustavus Adolphus College Athletics Department has chosen eight individuals for induction into its Athletics Hall of Fame. The 2019 inductees include Luke Benoit `04 (Golf), Molly Biehn Becker `04 (Softball), Mike Gempeler `91 (Hockey), Raman Jayapathy `85 (Tennis), Neil Johnson `04 (Golf), Jackie Luehman `04 (Track & Field), Angie Peterson Potts `04 (Basketball), and Kristin Peterson Smith `04 (Track & Field).
Angie Peterson, Luke Benoit Named 2004 Gustavus Athletes of the Year
The Gustavus Adolphus College Athletics Department has announced the 2003-04 Male and Female Athletes of the Year and they are Angie Peterson, a basketball player from Northfield, Minnesota and Luke Benoit, a golfer from Faribault, Minnesota.
Angie Peterson Named to Kodak/WBCA All-America Team
Senior guard Angie Peterson became the first women's basketball player at Gustavus to be named to the Kodak/WBCA All-America team on Friday. Peterson, the second leading scorer in school history (1,333 pts.), was honorable mention All-America last year.
