Andrea Peterson and Molly Doyle Earn All-America Honors in Women’s Hockey
Gustavus Adolphus College junior defender Andrea Peterson (White Bear Lake, Minn.) and sophomore forward Molly Doyle (Eagan, Minn.) have been named to the 2006 RBK Women's Division III Hockey All-America team that was selected by members of the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA).

The MIAC women's hockey coaches have named Gustavus junior defender Andrea Peterson the 2006 Player of the Year. Head Coach Mike Carroll was also named Coach of the Year. Joining Peterson on the all-conference team were senior Abby Randall, junior Kelly Crandall, sophomores Molly Doyle and Margaret Dorer, and first year Mari Gunderson.

Gustavus sophomore defender Andrea Peterson has been named the Women's Hockey Player of the Week by the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Peterson scored three goals and added two assists to help the Gusties win the MIAC Playoff Championship.

The Gustavus women's hockey team was rewarded for its MIAC regular season title by receiving the majority of the post-season awards from the MIAC. Andrea Peterson was named Player of the Year and Mike Carroll was named Coach of the Year.

Gustavus sophomore Andrea Peterson has been named Women's Hockey Player of the Week by the MIAC. Peterson scored five goals and contributed two assists for seven points as the Gusties swept the College of Saint Benedict 6-1 and 11-0.
