Cross Country hosts Annual Alumni Meet
The Gustavus men's and women's cross country teams experienced their first unofficial meet of the season Saturday at the Linnaeus Arboretum by hosting the annual Alumni Meet. Unlike in years past, the Gusties did not have other collegiate teams competing in its Alumni Meet, so the results are unofficial.
Cross Country Teams Host Alumni Meet
The Gustavus men's and women's cross country teams hosted their annual Alumni Meet in the Linnaeus Arboretum on Saturday, August 31. Thirty-two runners took part in the women's race including 27 members of the 2010 women's team and five alums, while 39 runners took part in the men's race including 19 members of the 2010 men's team and 20 alums.
Gustavus Cross Country Has Large Turnout for Alumni Meet
The Gustavus men's and women's cross country teams welcomed past alumni back to Gustavus for the annual alumni meet. A large group turned out in the beautiful weather for the 9 am run through Linneaus Arboretum.
