Sowden, Wittwer Named All-MIAC in Men’s Basketball

Gustavus Adolphus men's basketball players Phil Sowden and Trevor Wittwer have been named All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference by a vote of the league's coaches. Jesse Van Sickle was named to the All-First Year Team, while Tyler Kramer was selected to the Sportsmanship Team.

Eight Women’s Tennis Players Named All-MIAC; Palen Wins Evert Award

A total of eight Gustavus Adolphus women's tennis players received All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference recognition Monday. Honored were seniors Tara Houlihan, Lyndsey Palen and Marla Menne, juniors Lauren Hom, Jaime Gaard, Hannah Frericks and Darcy Haubrick and sophomore Jenni White.

13 Gusties Capture All-MIAC Honors in Men’s Swimming and Diving

A total of 13 Gustavus men's swimmers have captured All-MIAC honors following the recent MIAC Swimming and Diving Championships. Junior Scott Hagemeyer led the way, picking up honors in seven events, while fellow junior Brian Amundson and freshman Matt Stewart each captured honors in six events. Sophomore Ben Hanson, who was the only Gustie to post wins in multiple individual events, pulled down honors in five events and repeated as MIAC Swimmer of the Meet.

Keseley, Hosfield Named All-MIAC in Men’s Hockey

Gustavus Adolphus men's hockey players Mike Hosfield and Jon Keseley have been named All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference by a vote of the league's coaches. Both juniors, Hosfield and Keseley are being honored by the league for the first time. Senior Loren Havemeier received honorable mention honors.

Nine Gusties Capture All-League Honors in Women’s Swimming and Diving

Nine members of the Gustavus women's swimming and diving team have earned All-MIAC honors for posting a top-three finishes at the recent Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships. The Gusties captured honors in ten events (six individual, four relays). Sara Pfau led the Gustie contingent with six all-league finishes. Pfau finished second in both the 100 breaststroke and 200 backstroke and swam on all four honored relays.
