O’Neil Named First Team CoSIDA Academic All-America
The 2019-20 CoSIDA Academic All-America At-Large Teams were released Wednesday morning and Gustavus senior tennis student-athlete Michael O’Neil (Edina) was selected to the First Team after earning Second Team honors last season.
Freeman Earns Second Consecutive CoSIDA Academic All-America Honor
The 2020 CoSIDA Academic All-America Softball Teams were released Tuesday and Gustavus senior Aly Freeman (Omaha, Neb.) was selected to the Second Team after earning Third Team honors last season. Freeman is the first Gustie softball player to earn multiple Academic All-America honors since Rachael Click was selected in 2007, 2008, and 2009.

Football Player T.J. Ridley Named To CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Team
Gustavus Adolphus College football player T.J. Ridley, a junior safety from Edina, Minn., has been named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America College Division Second Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Ridley, who carries a 3.96 grade point average with a major in Biology and Pre-Med, finished the season with 38 tackles (18 solo), two interceptions, and 1.5 tackles for loss. He is also a forward on the Golden Gustie men's hockey team.
