Sophomore Andy Bryan defeated Gary Simonette of Williams 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 at #4 singles to allow the Gustavus men’s team to claim a thrilling 4-3 win in the third place match at the NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Team Championship. The Gusties finish the season with a record of 35-5.
Men’s Tennis Sees National Title Hopes Disappear With 4-0 Loss To Middlebury

The Gustavus men’s tennis team lost to Middlebury College 4-0 in a semifinal match at the NCAA Team Championship being played at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Va. The Gusties will now play for third place tomorrow (Friday) morning.
