Trailing 3-0 after being swept in doubles play, the Gustavus women's tennis team won five of six singles matches to claim an improbable 5-4 victory over previously undefeated Carleton on Saturday at the Swanson Tennis Center.

Women’s Tennis Completes Unblemished MIAC Weekend

The No. 35-ranked Gustavus women's tennis team completed a perfect weekend by winning a pair of 9-0 conference matches on Sunday for the second straight day. The Gusties started the morning with a clean sweep over Concordia at the Swanson Tennis Center and then a split squad blanked Hamline in Saint Paul.

Women’s Tennis Blanks Macalester and St. Scholastica

The Gustavus women's tennis team picked up two 9-0 conference victories on Saturday at the Swanson Tennis Center. The Gusties started the day with a clean sweep over Macalester and then continued the trend against St. Scholastica, improving to 12-6 overall and 4-0 in the MIAC. 

Women’s Tennis Closes Midwest Invite with 6-3 Win Over Hope

The Gustavus women's tennis team Saturday morning defeated Hope College 6-3 at the Midwest Invitational. The No. 30-ranked Gusties improve to 9-6 overall while Hope falls to 8-7. The Gusties were supposed to play Kenyon in the fifth place match on Saturday afternoon, but Kenyon was unable to play due to medical issues. 

Women’s Tennis Falls to UW-Whitewater at Midwest Invite

The Gustavus women's tennis team opened the Midwest Invite on Friday morning with a 6-3 loss to UW-Whitewater at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium. The No. 30-ranked Gusties drop to 8-6 overall while the No. 33-ranked Warhawks improve to 16-2.

Women’s Tennis Wins Over MSU 5-2 and SMSU 7-0

SAINT PETER, Minn. - The Gustavus women's tennis team returned to campus with a 5-2 opening win over neighbor MSU-Mankato before blanking the SMSU Mustangs 7-0. With the wins, the Gusties improve to 8-5 overall.

Women’s Tennis Falls 5-4 to Wellesley

TRINITY, Texas - In a battle between two ranked teams, the No. 30 Gusties fell to No. 40 Wellesley in tie breakers 5-4. With the loss, the Gusties move to a 6-5 on the season. 

Women’s Tennis Blanked By No. 6 Tufts

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The No. 30 Gustavus women's tennis team was shut out 9-0 by No. 6 ranked Tufts University on Wednesday morning. The Gusties drop to 6-4 overall while the Jumbos improve to 2-1.

Women’s Tennis Falls at No. 24 Trinity

In a matchup of top-30 nationally ranked teams, Gustavus women's tennis lost 9-0 at Trinity on Tuesday. The No. 30-ranked Gusties drop to 6-3 overall, while the No. 24-ranked Tigers improve to 9-6.
