The Gustavus women’s tennis team Wednesday was edged by DePauw University 5-4, hosted by Pomona-Pitzer Colleges. The loss drops the Gusties to 11-3 overall, while the Tigers improve to 7-4.
The Gustavus women’s tennis team opened its spring break trip Sunday with a 6-3 loss to No. 20-ranked Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The Gusties fall to 11-2 with their second straight loss, while MIT improves to 11-1.

Aney won both her singles (6-3, 7-6) and doubles (8-1) matches against Southwest Minnesota State, and she won her doubles match (8-1) against Minnesota State-Mankato. Against Division I Drake she picked up the lone singles victory in a three-set thriller, 3-6, 6-2, 1-0.
