10 Swimmers Named CSCAA All-America
The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recently released its All-America honors and 10 Gustavus swimmers received recognition.
Gustavus Set to Induct Nine New Members into Athletics Hall of Fame
The Gustavus Adolphus College Department of Athletics has chosen nine individuals for induction into its Athletics Hall of Fame. The 2021 inductees include Beth DeLaRosby ’05 (swimming & diving), Doug Espenson ’05 (basketball), Tara Houlihan Whiting ’06 (tennis/volleyball), Bobby Kroog ’06 (soccer), Audrey Lenoch ’06 (softball), Lyndsey Palen Crossley ’06 (tennis), Amanda Parker ’05 (gymnastics), Ben Sherer ’06 (baseball), and Tom Thorkelson ’70 (coach).
Women’s Swim Sets Five More Pool Records, Defeats St. Thomas in Season Finale
The Gustavus women’s swimming team concluded its 2021 season Sunday at the Vic Gustafson Pool with a 1097-752 dual meet victory over St. Thomas. In day two of the meet, the Gusties set five new pool records while winning seven of nine events.
Women’s Swim Sets Multiple Records in Day One vs. St. Thomas
After day one of the Gustavus vs. St. Thomas women’s swimming dual meet, the Gusties lead the Tommies 569-360. There were nine events on Saturday with the Gusties winning seven of them, setting seven pool records and one school record in the process.
Diving Hosts Final Meet of the Season
The Gustavus men's and women's divers competed in their final meet of the season Saturday at Vic Gustafson Pool against Hamline, Saint Benedict, Saint John's, and St. Thomas.

Swim & Dive Cruises Past Bennies and Johnnies
The Gustavus men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams hosted Saint Ben’s and Saint John’s on Sunday and both swam away with victories. The Gustie men defeated the Johnnies 230-67, while the Gustie women beat the Bennies 197.5-99.5.
Swim & Dive Set to Host Saint Ben’s, Saint John’s Sunday
The Gustavus men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams return to MIAC competition Sunday as they host Saint Ben’s and Saint John’s for a 2 p.m. dual meet at Vic Gustafson Pool. The diving portion of the meet will take place 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Saint John's.
Winter Sports Schedule Updates
