Women’s Swimming and Diving Falls to Minnesota State in Opener

The Gustavus women’s swimming and diving team picked up only three wins in 16 events on Saturday, falling to Minnesota State University, Mankato, 170-130, in a season-opening dual Saturday at the Lund Natatorium in St. Peter. Ashley Baer won the 1000 freestyle, 500 freestyle, 200 backstroke and 100 backstroke to lead the Mavericks.
