The Gustavus women’s cross country team placed eighth at the NCAA Pre-National meet on Friday afternoon at White Tail Golf Course in Colfax, Wisc. Lydia Davitt placed 31st with a time of 23:37 to lead the Gusties.

The Gustavus women’s cross country team placed fourth at the Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday in St. Paul, Minn. Nichole Petersen finished in ninth place with a time of 23:26 to lead the Gusties.

The Gustavus women’s cross country finished second out of six teams at the Les Duke Invitational hosted by Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. Nichole Petersen finished third individually.

The Gustavus women’s cross country team ran an inter-squad race on Saturday, September 11 in St. Peter, Minnesota. Nichole Petersen won the race with a time of 19:14. Laura Edlund was the top first-year finisher with a time 19:46 to place second overall.

Senior women’s cross country athlete Jen Skalko has been selected by the College Sporting News website as one of the MIAC’s outstanding student-athletes.
