The Gustavus men’s indoor track and field team placed third at the Ted Nelson Classic on Saturday afternoon in Mankato, Minn. Alex Zupan won the 5,000 meter run, Tanner Miest won the 60 meter hurdles, and Drew Hood won the pole vault.

The Gustavus men’s hockey team defeated Bethel 7-2 on Saturday night in St. Peter. The Gusties were an impressive 5-8 on the power play and outshot the Royals 41-26. Seven different players scored for Gustavus in the conference victory.

Andrew Olson Named MIAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

Sophomore guard Andrew Olson has been named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week in men’s basketball. Olson averaged 18.7 points per game to help the Gusties claim three wins and move into first place in the MIAC.
