Men’s Tennis Earns 33rd Consecutive MIAC Championship, Shuts Out Hamline

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The Gustavus men's tennis team locked up its 33rd consecutive MIAC regular season championship and the No. 1 seed for the postseason tournament, which begins next Friday. The Gusties are now 22-10 overall and finish the conference season 9-0.

Aney Named MIAC Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week

Nick Aney (Sr., Rochester) came away with victories at No. 2 singles and No. 1 singles to help the Gusties earn a 7-2 win over conference rival Carleton on April 23.

Men’s Tennis Beats Carleton 7-2

SAINT PETER, Minn. - The Gustavus men's tennis team defeated the Carleton Knights 7-2 in its final home match of the regular season and improve to 20-10 overall and 8-0 in the MIAC. 

Men’s Tennis Blanks UW-Eau Claire

SAINT PETER, Minn. - The Gustavus men's tennis team took a regional win on Saturday morning against UW-Eau Claire. The No. 5 regionally ranked Gusties defeated the No. 12 regionally ranked Blugolds 9-0. With the victory, Gustavus improves to 19-10 overall. 

Men’s Tennis Shuts Out Conference Opponents

SAINT PETER, Minn. - The Gustavus men's tennis teams swept a pair of MIAC competitors on Saturday, topping Macalester 9-0 and blanking new conference opponent St. Scholastica 9-0. With the wins, the Gusties improve to  18-10 overall and 7-0 in the MIAC. 

Christensen Named MIAC Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week

Josh Christensen helped Gustavus to a sweep of Saint John's in conference action over the weekend. After posting an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles, Christensen earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory at the top singles spot to improve to 2-0 in MIAC play on the year.

WEST BEND, Wis. - After taking big wins against MIAC opponents on Saturday, the Gusties fell to a regional competitor on Sunday afternoon. The Gustavus men's tennis team suffered an 8-1 loss to No. 2 Chicago after putting up a solid battle with three singles matches going into tie breakers.

Men’s Tennis Sweeps a Pair of MIAC Opponents

WINONA, Minn. - The Gustavus men's tennis team swept its MIAC competitors on Saturday afternoon with a 9-0 win over Saint Mary's and a 9-0 victory over Saint John's. With the wins the Gusties improve to 16-9 overall and 5-0 in the conference.
