Hofstede, Small Selected as MIAC Swimmers of the Week
The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Tuesday announced its Swimming & Diving Athletes of the Week and Gustavus earned both awards. Erik Small (Fy., Hudson, Wis) is this week's Men's Athlete of the Week and Ellen Hofstede (Fy., Hopkins) is the Women's Athlete of the Week.
Swim & Dive Convincingly Wins Grace Goblirsch Invite
The Gustavus men’s and women’s swim & dive teams both handily won the Grace Goblirsch Invite on Saturday at Vic Gustafson Pool. The women totaled 1,743 points while the men tallied 1,507 points.
Hudson Named MIAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week
First-year swimmer Dane Hudson (Eden Prairie) had a solid meet for Gustavus at Hamline this past weekend, winning both his individual events as well as partaking in a pair of relay victories. For his performances, Hudson has been named the MIAC Men's Swimmer of the Week.

Larson Earns Second Straight MIAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Nolan Larson (Jr., West Des Moines, Iowa) won all three of his events and set a pool record in a dual victory over St. Olaf on Saturday. For his performance, Larson has been named MIAC Men's Swimmer of the Week for the second consecutive week.
Swim & Dive Teams Top St. Olaf in MIAC Dual
The Gustavus men’s and women’s swim & dive teams both defeated St. Olaf on Saturday at Vic Gustafson Pool. The men won 200-90 and the women edged the Oles 164-136.
Larson Earns MIAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Nolan Larson (Jr., West Des Moines, Iowa) turned in four first-place finishes to help Gustavus defeat UW-Stevens Point for the first time since 2007. For his performances, Larson has been named MIAC Men's Swimmer of the Week.
Swim & Dive Has Successful Home Opener
The Gustavus men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams hosted their season opener Saturday at Vic Gustafson Pool against Minnesota State-Mankato and UW-Stevens Point and came away with a number of successful results. The men defeated Stevens Point, while the women beat Steven Point and lost to MSU.
2019-20 Swim & Dive Season Preview
The Gustavus men’s and women's swimming & diving teams begin their 2019-20 season Saturday at home, playing host to Minnesota State-Mankato and UW-Stevens Point. The meet at Vic Gustafson Pool begins at 1 p.m.
Swim & Dive Teams Named CSCAA Scholar All-America
The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) has named the Gustavus men's and women's swimming and diving teams to its Scholar All-America team for the Spring 2019 Semester.
