The Gustavus men’s soccer team is set to play Trinity University in a sectional match of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, November 19 in San Antonio, Texas. The game will begin approximately 30 minutes following the completion of the first sectional match.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team advanced to the sectional semifinal of the NCAA tournament by defeating UW-Whitewater 5-4 in a penalty kick shootout. The game was tied at 1-1 after 110 minutes of play so the game went to a shootout.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team will host UW-Whitewater on Saturday, November 13 at 1:00pm in a second round match of the NCAA Tournament. Tickets will be $6 for adults, $3 for students with I.D. and $2 for children under 12.

The NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Committee has released the 2004 championship bracket and the Gustavus men’s soccer team received a bye in the first round and will host a second round match on Saturday, November 13 at 1:00pm.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team defeated Macalester 3-0 to claim its second consecutive MIAC Tournament Championship and an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament. Ben Heupel, J.T. Johnson and Joe Hartwell were the goal scorers for Gustavus.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team will host Macalester College on Saturday, November 6 in the MIAC tournament final. The match is scheduled to start at 1pm.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team defeated Bethel University 1-0 on Tuesday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. Sophomore Alex Groth scored the only goal in the 38th minute of the match. The Gusties will host Macalester College on Saturday in the MIAC final.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team is seeded number one and will host number four seed Bethel University in the MIAC playoffs semifinal game on Tuesday, November 2. The match is scheduled to begin at 2:00pm.
