The Gustavus men’s hockey team lost 9-3 on Saturday night to 12th ranked St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. Kyle Menken, Mike Hosfield and Lauren Havemeier were the goal scorers for Gustavus.

Mike Hosfield scored a goal for the Gustavus men’s hockey team at 11:34 of the third period to tie Saint Thomas 4-4 at Don Roberts Rink in St. Peter Friday night. The Gusties went on to tie the Tommies 4-4 after a scoreless overtime period.

The Gustavus men’s hockey team lost 5-6 on Friday night to Bethel University at Columbia Arena in Fridley, Minn. Jason Watters, Loren Havemeier, Steven Jensen, Keith Detlefsen and Mike Hosfield were the goal scorers for Gustavus.

The Gustavus men’s hockey team defeated Bethel 7-2 on Saturday night in St. Peter. The Gusties were an impressive 5-8 on the power play and outshot the Royals 41-26. Seven different players scored for Gustavus in the conference victory.

The Gustavus men’s hockey team hosted St. Olaf on Saturday night in St. Peter. Despite outshooting the Oles 33-26, the Gusties lost 7-2. Gustavus falls to 5-5 in the MIAC, tied for fourth place with Bethel University.

The Gustavus men’s hockey team suffered a dissappointing loss to St. Olaf on Friday night in Northfield. The Oles defeated the Gusties 7-1 to hand the Gusties their fourth conference loss of the season.

The Gustavus men’s hockey team defeated Saint Mary’s 4-2 to complete the conference series sweep. Mike Hosfield, Adam Meyer, Kyle Menken and Keith Detlefsen were the goal scorers for Gustavus.

The Gustavus men’s hockey team defeated Saint Mary’s 8-1 on Friday night in Winona, Minn. Seven different players scored as the Gusties improved their overall record to 7-9-0 and 4-3-0 in the MIAC.

The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s junior varsity hockey team wil host the annual MIAC junior varsity tournament on Saturday, January 29 and Sunday, January 30. The teams competing are Gustavus, Augsburg, Saint John’s and Saint Mary’s.

Gustavus leads St. Mary’s by one point in the conference standings, and also has two conference games in hand over the Cardinals. The conference season is half way through its schedule, and the playoff race is starting to heat up.
