The Gustavus women’s basketball team held off a scrappy St. Olaf team and posted a 74-70 win at Gus Young Court in St. Peter. Gustavus improves to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the MIAC, while St. Olaf falls to 0-6 overall and 0-3 in the MIAC.

The men’s basketball team shot a red-hot 63.5 percent from the field (33-52) and defeated Concordia 76-56 in MIAC play on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter. Senior point guard Chris TeBrakeled Gustavus with 17 points,4 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks.
