Gustavus Adolphus men’s basketball players Phil Sowden and Trevor Wittwer have been named All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference by a vote of the league’s coaches. Jesse Van Sickle was named to the All-First Year Team, while Tyler Kramer was selected to the Sportsmanship Team.

Gustavus Adolphus women’s basketball players Jess Vadnais and Bri Monahan have been named All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference by a vote of the league’s coaches with Vadnais being named the league’s Player of the Year. Gustavus Adolphus College sophomore hurdler Tyler Geyen (Watertown, Minn./Watertown-Mayer) has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 25, 2007. Geyen won the 55-meter hurdles at the Pre-MIAC Meet hosted by Carleton Feb. 23 in a time of 7.85 seconds.
