Men’s Swimming & Diving Competes At Minnesota Challenge

The Gustavus women’s swimming and diving team competed in the two-day Minnesota Challenge held in the Aquatics Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota on Friday and Saturday. No team scores were kept, as it was the Gusties final swim meet before competition at the MIAC Championships held on February 18-20 in the U of M Aquatics Center.

Gymnastics Takes Third At Best Of Minnesota Invite

The Gustavus gymnastics team compiled 172.75 points to finish in third place at the Best of Minnesota Invite held in the Sports Pavilion on the campus of the University of Minnesota on Saturday night. The University of Minnesota won the meet with 194.950 points, as Winona State University took second with 178.725 points and Hamline University took fourth with 167.80.

The Gustavus men’s track and field team competed in the Ted Nelson Classic hosted by MSU-Mankato in the Meyers Field House Saturday afternoon. No team scores were kept at the meet, yet the Gusties turned in 11 top five finishes at the meet.

The Gustavus women's track and field team had the opportunity to compete in the Ted Nelson Classic hosted by MSU-Mankato in the Meyers Field House Saturday afternoon. No team scores were kept at the meet, yet the Gusties turned in five top five finishes at the meet.

Men’s Basketball Topped By Hamline 69-66

Hamline’s Carl Hipp scored 20 points on 7-for-8 shooting in the second half to lead the Pipers past the Gustavus men’s basketball team 69-66 on Saturday afternoon in St. Paul. Hipp scored Hamline’s final six points of the game, giving the Pipers the three point victory and moving them into third place in the MIAC standings. Hamline improves to 15-7 overall and 11-6 in the MIAC, while the Gusties fall to 13-8 overall and 11-5 in the MIAC.

Men’s Basketball Gets Back On Track With 63-44 Win Over Macalester

The Gustavus men’s basketball team got back on the winning track with a 63-44 win over Macalester on Wednesday night in St. Peter, Minn. Sam Paulson matched his season-high with 15 points, as Jesse Van Sickle added 13. The Gusties improve to 13-7 overall and 11-4 in the MIAC, as Macalester drops to 2-19 overall and 0-16 in the MIAC.

Women’s Indoor Track & Field Ranked #23 In USTFCCCA Poll

The Gustavus Adolphus women's indoor track and field team is currently ranked #23 in the nation in the most recent U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) rankings. Gustavus has a total of 29.73 points, gaining 19.68 points from the previous week.

Kaelene Lundstrum Named MIAC Women’s Indoor Field Athlete Of The Week

Gustavus Adolphus senior Kaelene Lundstrum was named MIAC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for her efforts at the MSU-Mankato Open over the weekend. Lundstrum took first place in the Pentathon with 3,468 points, setting a new school record and qualifying for the Nationals.
