Angela Ahrendt Becomes 13th Member Of Gustavus 1,000 Kill Club In 3-2 Win Over St. Olaf

The Gustavus volleyball team was able to battle its way to a MIAC victory over St. Olaf 3-2 on Wednesday night in St. Peter. Angela Ahrendt led the Gustavus offense with 18 kills, one of which was the 1000th of her career. She is the 13th player in Gustie volleyball history to knock down 1000 kills. Gustavus improves to 10-4 overall and 1-1 in the MIAC, while St. Olaf falls to 6-7 overall and 0-2 in the MIAC.

Defense Shines As Men’s Soccer Blanks Buena Vista 5-0

Goalkeeper Brett Ylonen ceased to get a look at a shot on Wednesday afternoon in Storm Lake, Iowa, as the Gustavus men's soccer team claimed a 5-0 victory over Buena Vista University. The Gusties improve 7-1-0 with the non-conference victory, while Buena Vista drops to 3-4-0.

Taylor Drenttel Earns MIAC Golfer Of The Week Honors

Gustavus golfer Taylor Drenttel (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) earned MIAC Women's Golf Athlete of the Week honors after leading the Gusties to a first place victory at the Division 3 Classic over the weekend. Drenttel won the tournament with a 153 (+9), her lowest round of the season.

Men’s Soccer Ranked No. 20 In Most Recent NSCAA Poll
