The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s soccer team hosted non-conference opponent Grinnell College on Sunday. The Gusties and Pioneers battled through two overtimes to tie a 0-0 on a cool afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. Grinnell outshot Gustavus 17-6 and held a corner kick advantage of 9-3. Gustavus goalkeeper Tori Boughton made nine saves to record hir third win and third shutout of the season.
The Gusties improve to 3-8-2 overall, while the Pioneers improve to 9-3-1. Head coach Mike Stehlik’s squad is 2-0-1 in its last three matches and will host #22 Macalester College on Saturday, October 23 at 1:00pm.
