Six Gusties Earn MIAC Women’s Track & Field All-Conference

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its women’s track & field postseason awards Thursday and six Gustavus student-athletes received recognition.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its women’s track & field postseason awards Thursday and six Gustavus student-athletes received recognition.

Alex Anderson (So., Sioux Falls, S.D.), Katie Keelin (So., Burnsville, Minn.), Sadie Klug (Sr., Waseca, Minn.), Marisa Morgan (Sr., Rockford, Ill.), Olivia Rosenow (Sr., Maple Grove, Minn.), and Kayla Stowell (Jr., Le Sueur, Minn.) each earned All-Conference honors. To be awarded All-Conference, individuals must place in the top-three in their respective events at the MIAC Championships.

Morgan – second place in the javelin (131-9)

Stowell – second place in the 100-meter (12.28)

Anderson – third place in the high jump (5-1.25)

Keelin – third place in the hammer throw (153-8)

Klug – third place in the 5000-meter (17:51.44)

Rosenow – third place in the 3000-meter steeplechase (11:14.65)

In addition to the All-Conference Team, Isabella Klabough (Fy., Elysian, Minn.) was named to the MIAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
