Women’s Tennis Stays Unbeaten In MIAC With Sweep Of Blazers

The No. 40-ranked Gustavus women’s tennis team stayed undefeated during Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play with a 9-0 victory over the College of Saint Benedict at Swanson Tennis Center on Friday, improving its overall record to 7-5 on the season.

ST. PETER, Minn. – The No. 40-ranked Gustavus women’s tennis team stayed undefeated during Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play with a 9-0 victory over the College of Saint Benedict at Swanson Tennis Center on Friday, improving its overall record to 7-5 on the season.

“I think the team was excited to get back into match play again after a lengthy break,” said Head Coach Jon Carlson. “The energy was good and we played very well. The whole team is pumped to head into the second half of our season where we are as a team.”
