ST. PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s soccer team continues Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Saturday afternoon, hosting Concordia College at Gustie Soccer Field.
The Gusties (3-3-0 overall, 0-1-0 MIAC) are set to take the pitch against the Cobbers (1-3-1, 0-0-1 MIAC) at 1 p.m.
Gustavus opened conference play on Wednesday afternoon at Carleton College, falling 1-0 in overtime. After an even first 90 minutes, the Knights notched the game-winner just under two minutes into the first overtime period off a corner kick opportunity, handing the Gusties their first shutout loss of 2017.
