ST. PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus football team welcomed more than 160 alumni, family and friends to its 27th annual golf tournament on Friday, Aug. 4 at Shoreland Country Club.
“A great day of golf,” Head Coach Peter Haugen said. “More than 160 golfers came out to support Gustie Football on Friday. I am very thankful for all the support from our alumni, friends and businesses. This tradition is special and the generous support we receive is so appreciated and needed as we work to provide a first-class experience for our student-athletes.”

“We look forward to this season and homecoming,” Haugen said. “We will be celebrating the championship teams of 1967 and 1987 this year and will also be honoring Coach Denny Raarup with ‘Denny Raarup Day.’”
