Men’s Tennis Earns Four 9-0 Wins

The No. 20-ranked Gustavus men’s tennis team swept the day with four wins over Bethel University, Morningside College, Augustana University, and Central College.

ST. PETER, Minn. – The No. 20-ranked Gustavus men’s tennis team swept the day with four wins over Bethel University, Morningside College, Augustana University, and Central College.

In each win, the Gusties prevailed by a score of 9-0 and improved its overall record to 8-2, including its second MIAC victory.

“The guys did a great job today,” said Head Coach Tommy Valentini. “We were aggressive in the doubles and came through in some challenging moments in the singles by trusting our approach. It was a great team effort to handle two sets of simultaneous duals with energy and focus.”
