BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Gustavus (7-2) won four of its five matches last week behind a big-time performance from setter Nora Holtan (So., Rochester, Minn.), who was named to the Loras All-Tournament Team for her performance. The sophomore setter finished with 203 assists (9.67 per set) and added 29 kills (.311 hitting percentage) and 35 digs in the five matches. She had at least 31 assists in each match, including a career-high 52 assists in a 3-2 win over No. 13-ranked Carthage and a 49-assist, 14-kill performance in a 3-2 victory over Wartburg. The Gusties also defeated Martin Luther (3-0) and Loras (3-0) and dropped a narrow 3-2 decision to Cornell. For her performance, Holtan was named MIAC Volleyball Setter/Libero Player-of-the-Week.
