Scott Moe Named MIAC Men’s Golf Coach of the Year

Gustavus men’s golf coach Scott Moe has been named the MIAC Coach of the Year by the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference golf coaches. This the the second consecutive year that Moe has been honored as MIAC Coach of the Year.

Gustavus Adolphus men’s golf coach Scott Moe has been named Coach of the Year in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for the 2004 season. This is the fourth time the 1995 Gustavus alumnus has received this award.

Moe, in his eighth year as head coach, guided the Gusties to their second consecutive conference championship and their fifth in the last eight years. The golf team has received an invitation to the NCAA Championships every year that Moe has been the coach. The Gusties finished fifth at the national tournament in 2001 and 2002 and sixth in 2003.

Moe will travel with his squad to the 2004 NCAA Championships which will take place in Redlands, California on May 10-13. This will be the 20th consecutive year that the Gustavus men’s golf team has taken part in the NCAA tournament.

Scott lives in St. Peter with his wife, Sarah, and his son, Logan.
